Slow rising hcg?

Hello, I just recently found out I am pregnant. I am worried however. Monday my hcg was only 23 and Thursday my hcg went to 40. So it didn’t double. My nurse told me not to worry because some women just have slow rising hcg and it was close to doubling. Has anyone experienced this?

Mine initially only went up by 53% and then a week later it started to double. 
I’m 8 weeks and hoping everything will be ok after seeing a heartbeat and measurements are normal.

According to the calculator I use when plugging mine in, its lower than normal.. but I would still keep getting it checked, could just be that its early. Maybe you'll get a jump in levels next time.

As long as it goes up atleast 35% it can still be considered normal ♡
