When to test for pregnancy?

How long after unprotected sex can you test for pregnancy? My cycles are irregular so not exactly sure when I ovulate..

They say as early as 8 days after conception. So count from the days you’ve had unprotected sex then test on those days :)

It's not so much unprotected sex as it is when you ovulate.
If the sperm stuck when you ovulate it takes 6-12 days after conception for implantation to happen
Conception happens 12-24hrs after ovulation day (assuming you know your ovulation day)
