8/9 dpo question

I caved yesterday and today. I took a frer yesterday with fmu and it looks neg to me but I took another today at 9 dpo and it still looks neg to me. I know everyone says that's early but I'm a poas-aholic and just had to. Unfortunately now I'm feeling discouraged and like I'm out this month yet again. Idk why I do this to myself each month. I should just wait. Is there anyone with a positive story that took a test around the same time and then later ended up with a BFP?
