Should I drop my order of protection?

Hi All,

I have an order of protection against my child’s father due to abuse. My baby is several months old and has not seen their father yet, however, the court will grant him visitation. With that being said, I was asked if I wanted to drop my order of protection for a order of no harassment so that we can meet at a mutual location for his visitation. I do not want anything to back fire on me if I decide to go with the order of no harassment as we are in court for a family case and I feel that an order of protection will be more secure and prove to the court about safety. The other option is to contact a family visitation center so he can get visitation. Any thoughts or have anyone dealt with a situation like this?
