Should I leave him?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year, we moved in with each other a couple of months ago. He does make me happy but I don’t think we are compatible. My friends and family like him but tell me I can do better. I love him but his priorities are not I want them to be. He will do things for me even when he doesn’t want to but he will make a fuss about it. He just finish coding school he should be going out there and finding a job in coding not suggesting a job that’s not coding. When it comes to his friends he calls “family” even though they have other priorities, it feels he will think of their feelings first before mine. I know I can do better but I thought love can be stronger enough to look past things. I’m stuck with a lease with him until next summer, what do I do? Work it out? Leave? Stay until lease is up while broken up? Advice?
