I thought I moved on from him..

hello, I think I just need to vent since I don’t have really anyone I can vent to. So today I found out that my ex is in a relationship with a girl and I guess they’re starting a family….

We broke up a little over a year and although I have seemed like I moved on since I have been dating other men and I had stopped thinking about him every day. Hearing this news made me feel kind of sad. He was my first love & we always talked about starting a family together, I’m not exactly sure why that triggered me but it did.

Also, I am happy for him and I would never do anything to ruin his relationship, I guess I just felt like it should of been me.
