Gender at 13 weeks?

Question

Has anyone found out the gender by ultrasound between 12 and 13 weeks? My next ultrasound I’ll be 12+6 and a few mommy friends of mine think I’ll be able to find out the gender (if baby’s legs aren’t crossed) but I’m seeing mixed answers online!
Whether you did or not, please show me your 12-13 week (bonus points if it was also 12+6 ultrasounds!)
I’m anxious to start buying things for the baby/nursery and super gender neutral is hard to find in my area!

You can definitely find the gender out a little closer to 13 weeks I found out with my baby boy . This pregnancy I’ve been given a hard time due to my weight

I found out through blood work at 13 weeks. I think it’s too early to see on the ultrasound

My ultrasound tech told me at 12 weeks exactly. And I confirmed with a blood test. She was right

I was about 13 weeks when we had an in depth ultrasound due to abnormal genetic results, and the doctor asked if we wanted to know gender - we did, and it was a boy! Confirmed through blood tests a few days later. And he was born perfectly healthy, btw 😊

My last ultrasound was at 12w1 day but babies were measuring closer to 13. Both the dr and ultrasound tech were willing to give me a guess and they both had the exact same guesses for both. Dr said she would be willing to look again at next appointment. Can’t wait to find out for sure but they were both pretty confident! See if your tech will be willing to venture a guess. Make sure you let them know you won’t hold them to it and they may be more willing to tell you. Good luck!

They were able to check at 14 weeks for me and it confirmed what our blood test told us

I found out via blood work at 13 weeks. 
Typically they don’t confirm fetal sex through ultrasound until 16-20 weeks (for most offices), but it doesn’t hurt to ask if they can check/see if baby is in a good spot to take a pretty good guess at what it is.

This was at exactly 12+6. We went a specialist though so I think the ultrasound quality is a little better but they were able to clearly see his boy parts at that appointment!
