So, my husband and i have been together for 10 years. The problem is, he is not very touchy and not affectionate to me. Idk why we lasted this long. He is a good provider, dad, and a husband to me. We only have sex once a month 😭 i wanted to say, hey lets split cause im not getting a lot of sex but im scared to hurt him. Will take any advice.

I've been with my husband for 12 years & a few years ago he brought it to my attention that I wasn't as affectionate anymore and I didn't even realize it! 😏 Talk to him, let him know how you feel.

My mom and dad celebrated 42 years of marriage this year. My father is not a touchy guy either. He does not do any public affection. He does not cuddle, hug or hold hands. He loves my mom though! My mom respects his boundaries. 
I feel like if that's a reason for you to divorce you should bring it to the table and talk about it. Has he always been this way or?  Your needs are important as well but he gets to have his needs as well.

Have you takes to him about how important touch is for you? My husband isn’t a touchy guy from the get go, so I just had to tell him that it’s something I needed from him. It took lots of conversations but we got there, he at least tries. If it doesn’t come naturally then it takes practice and a loving/supportive partner to remind them.

You got to communicate with your husband. There’s nothing wrong with wanting more affection or sex. But if you haven’t discussed it with him, it would definitely devastate him if you bring up divorce without giving him a chance to fix things. If he’s not willing to change or that’s just how he is, then it sucks that it took 10 years to find that out.

Talk to him.aboit this and tell him how you feel. Pulling the plug on the marriage without truly trying to resolve the issue is a very drastic step. Communicate. See if he is willing to seek counseling with you to work through this.

My husband and most of his family are non affectionate people. My husband really didn’t do pda of any sort. However we had the conversation a long time ago about how we show love and what we like in return. For him he didn’t grow up seeing affection or getting it so he deemed that as normal. He used nice gestures and words as a way to show he cared. He didn’t know how to do things any other way.
So I taught him. It was simple and as of now he does things on his own but I can guarantee if we ever divorced he wouldn’t do this again for anyone else. 
We have been married for 2 years and together overall for 15 (my choice) . We are turning 31 this year.
