Hello!

I’m going to be 9 weeks tomorrow and have an appointment on Friday and this is our first pregnancy ever! So we are so excited and scared at same time. But my husband wants to tell our whole families together in about two weeks! (We have a family reunion once a year) I would really love to do that as well, but when did you ladies start telling your families?!

Thanks in advance!

We told ours as soon as the test was positive. I thought even if it doesn’t go to planned our family will need to be there for us! Most of our close friends know now!

Awh im sorry you had that! I have had really understand workers so far but I know that’s not everyone’s experience! If you don’t feel comfortable then wait abit longer I’m sure your husband will be understanding!

Yes that’s what I’m hoping for this next appointment Friday!

Yeah I can understand! Not everyone feels comfortable we were in a position where everyone knew we were having ivf for our little one bc we had to isolate so in the end when I didn’t say it failed everyone assumed it worked. I’m currently 10weeks and a few at work and close friends now know! Maybe wait till you’ve had a scan and everything looks good? 💗💗

I would tell whoever you are comfortable with telling that you also had a miscarriage. I got pregnant in November and told our parents and my very close friends, I was fine with telling them I had a miscarriage because I needed support. This go around I have only told my close friends because we want to see the ultrasound and do something cute for our parents.

Yes that’s exactly how I feel but my husband as sweet as he is wants to tell the world sooner than later

This is our first too, we’re planning on telling our parents in person around 9-10 weeks since that’s when we’ll see them, but everyone else I think we’ll FaceTime around 12 before posting on socials. Really we’re just calling siblings and our grandparents so I’m hopeful it’ll be a short calling list

For sure, I would much rather tell sooner and get to tell my parents in person, if you’re going to have a bunch of people in person that could be a great option!

Yes we aren’t planning to post anything until the end of august when I am in my second trimester! But we thought of telling our families a little sooner than that it’s good too see other people do it differently

Only people that know are my bosses because of my doctor appointments being in the middle of my shifts. we planned to wait but my husband is getting Ansy and he’s not good at keeping secrets. Lol I’m surprised he lasted this long! We thought it would be best to announce when everyone gets together in the beginning of august

Yes that what we wanted to do but all of our family will be meeting together when I’m 10 1/2 weeks for Dinner so we thought that it would be a nice surprise even though it’s early
