Someone wrote wetback on my husband's autism sign

I've had issues with this neighbor since moving into house. My husband is Mexican with autism. She got mad at him for going out everyday to play pokemon go and asked for his papers and when we walked away she called the cops causing him to have a melt down. My husband is legal and she is racist. She started spreading rumors about is and my husband was sad because he didn't make friends. I ended up following some.advice on here and put out a sign that said Autistic Man Lives Here. My husband understands it wasn't to embarrass him, just to make sure people understand so they can make friends. I was taking the trash out and that Karen neighbor was looking out her window and smiling. I didn't notice until I went back up but "someone" painted over our sign to make it say "Wet Back Lives Here" She was still smiling and walked away from her window. I have no proof she did it so all I could do was scrub our sign. We are moving after our lease ends. Honestly we may break our lease because this is too much.

Edit: The guys... This may sound wrong but I didn't even tell my husband because I didn't want to hurt his feelings...
