I have yet to experience heavy menstrual bleeding
My periods would usually start off light at day 1 and get heavier at around days 2-3. The heaviest day of my period would either be day 2 or 3, I guess. (it's hard for me to tell which day's heavier since they're technically the same.) Then, my period starts to get light on day 4 and my last day would be day 5. On rare occasions, my period would get longer by a day or two, but it's mostly 5 days. I then noticed something: I've never had a heavy period in my life. EVER. I've had light periods and I've had medium periods, but they were never so heavy, that I would get huge blood clots, heavy menstrual bleeding, or I would have to change my pad so frequently. Heavy menstrual bleeding is VERY common in people with medical conditions, such as endometriosis, anemia, and PCOS to name a few. For those of you who have had heavy menstrual bleeding before, I am so sorry.
