No success finding a job

How is it that everywhere in my town and beyond is understaffed and hiring yet they don't want to hire. I've never had an issue with getting the jobs I have applied to. In the past it would take 2 weeks tops to get the job I wanted.... It's so discouraging and I've been praying about it so I'm hoping soon I will be able to help with finances so my husband doesn't have to do it all...
