Does vaginal birth make vagina loose permanently ?

Hi I’m planning on going all normal and never had a vaginal birth before , does vaginal birth affect sex life later on ? I’ve heard it stretches the vaginal wall and muscles a lot that it will never be the same again ? Please share ur experiences Thank you !

Not true at all.  I’ve actually been tighter after each one.  If you do have issues, it’s from pregnancy itself rather than how you deliver and then you need pelvic floor therapy

I wouldn’t say I was tighter like the other ladies but there is literally no difference from before. Sex feels the same and I also look the same down there too. There really is nothing to worry about. Your vagina is designed to have babies so don’t worry

I tore and went completely natural and my vagina went back to normal!  I would personally always go natural no matter even a fewr of stretching rather than having my body cut into having my organs taken out of my body and then the baby taken out and having everything put back!  Wayyyy more traumatic for the body and healing is way harder and believe me life with a newborn is hard enough without having huge stomach surgery!  Thats why majority of doctors dont do it unless they need to. No shame to woman who have c sections, sometimes it needs to be done but i would never voluntarily go under the knife.

False!! Who thought of this?? I had a 4th degree tear with my first, and everything went back to normal, been told it’s tighter 😊 that was nearly 13years ago come September 17th currently 33wks with my second and having a c-section due to my doctor afraid of me tearing bad again having a small pelvis

Nope. I had more sexual problems and pelvic floor problems after my csection compared to my vbac. I had a 1st degree tear and lacerations with my vbac but my body bounced right back quicker than with my section

False I tore 2nd degree but always was told I was super tight once I did have sex again

I got back to normal pretty quick after my first and had a 3rd degree tear. With my 2nd I felt great right after birth (still had a small tear) and went too hard on the kegels. My midwife mentioned it at my 6 week exam lol I think I may be tighter than before. Also, after my first I got much more sensitive down there, like in a good way 😜
