Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction ?

Was anyone diagnosed with SPD while pregnant and ended up getting pregnant again? Did it happen earlier or was it more painful than the first time? I was diagnosed with it my last pregnancy(my third who is only 10 months) at 28 weeks and it was very painful I couldn’t sit/walk/stand without being in a lot of pain. My doctor said the more kids I have the worse it will get. 🥲

Yep. I had it at 28 weeks with my first, 10 weeks with my second, and still experienced consistent pains for about 4 months pp. Im 6 mo pp now, and still have painful days. It just sucks. I did get PT w my second, it did help a little.

In early days of my second pregnancy now (10 weeks) but praying I don’t suffer as bad as the first time ☹️
I’m more scared of SPD again than I am giving birth, it was incredibly painful and from 25-30+ weeks I could hardly walk, get up and down out of a chair, in and out of bed etc it was torture 😫

I think your doctor was right! I first got it with my second and with my third, it was so much worse. It still hurts sometimes and I’m 8 weeks postpartum 😣
