38 & first time pregnancy

Angela • Australian 🇦🇺 👼🏼 8 Sept 2021 The ocean is my home

Hi ladies,

I turned 38 on July 13 and a week later found out I am expecting my first baby ☺️ To be honest, I kind of ignored the fact that my period was 12 days late because my boobs were sore and I had those “pre-period” cramps, but I conceded and did a test (actually 3!!!). All POSITIVE. I have a dating scan next Friday (will be around 7W3D) and I’m praying to see a healthy little growing bean. I guess like all of us, I am really nervous/anxious about being a “geriatric mother” and would love any advice for what to do to keep my mind and body healthy. I already go to the gym regularly and I surf. Started a pregnancy multi vitamin and stopped drinking (eeeek I partied pretty hard around my birthday 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Would love to hear any advice from you beautiful 35+ mummas
