Brazilian wax during period???

Question

Family trip to florida and im excited! We leave this friday but I have a waxing appointment (brazillian and full legs) but im so disappointed because i started my period again for the 2nd time this month. I have irregular periods and started a new birth control which is probably the cause of my period. 
Anyway, can I still go to my appointment? I heard you can have it done if you wear a tampon. But Im old school and never use them because my periods are heavy. 😭

I don't think they will wax you when your on. It hurts a lot more and it's unsanitary. I suggest to call ahead and ask

I think some places have different policies. I would say if you could just try to use a tampon as it will only be for the duration of your wax. After you’re done you can always switch to a pad before leaving.

Mine does but it’s only towards the end and you must wear a tampon.

Check with them. Mine does, I just have to wear a tampon and tuck the string, but that could vary.
