Difficult Brother In Law

Hi,

It’s been about 4yrs since I got married . My in laws are pretty nice . I just never can understand why my BIL is always rude to me and never really welcomed me Into the family . I have tried to address this with my husband but it just causes us to have arguments because he feels I am against his brother 🤷🏻‍♀️.

My BIL is into all American sports & I am not sure how to connect with him , he always pushes me away or is curt when I try to speak to him . Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this ? I guess the onus is on me to figure out but I would really like a better relationship .
