Has anyone else noticed that trend going around where people are posting videos of themselves cleaning their bathroom or kitchen surfaces and mixing multiple cleaners together? I can't be the only one bothered by this, can I? I was always taught from a young age mixing cleaners could potentially produce toxic gasses that could make you sick or worse. If you don't know what the chemical reaction is, DONT MIX IT. I always thought it was common knowledge until coming across these videos.

The whole thing reminds me of when I used to work at a hotel as a housekeeper. Most of the tubs at this particular hotel had pretty bad stains that refused to come out with the basic cleaners that were provided for us. The girl who ran the front desk had the audacity to tell us to mix the chemicals to get the stains out. I chuckled and said I'm not mixing those chemicals. Her response? "It's ok it won't damage the tub". I looked at her and said "I'm not worried about damaging the tub, I'm worried about damaging me!" She couldn't fathom why I wouldn't gas myself for minimum wage. I can't fathom why people would gas themselves for internet views. 🤷‍♀️
