I am considering getting married young (19-21). It’s not that I need a guy or need that security because I am independent and good on my own. I’ve just never been one to party or live a wild life, and the thought of settling down has always felt right. My parents both married their high school sweethearts at young ages and got divorced within a few years before meeting each other. They’ve always told me that those young marriages never work out. On the flip side, my grandma and grandpa have been married for nearly 50 years and were married at 19. I don’t know what to gather from these conflicting opinions. Any advice?
