Late ovulation and delayed period?

I usually ovulate like clockwork day 12-14 and this cycle I ovulated day 16-17 confirmed opk. 
My period is currently 2 days late with BFN but wondering if any of you ladies have ovulated late which has caused a delay in your period starting?
I just want it to start so we can try again this month.

That’s what happens if you ovulate late your period will be late. Opks don’t confirm ovulation ovulation they detect the Lh surge but our body may fail to ovulate when you got the peak. Test again in a few days if your period still hasn’t showed up.
