Colostomy reversal and pregnancy?

k

Hey all, I was just curious if anyone has ever personally dealt with or knows of anyone who has had a similar situation to me. A freak occurrence caused me to get necrotizing fasciitis in my bottom (specifically butt cheek) and led to a removal of the area and then a colostomy so that the area could heal completely without infection. That was in august 2019, and I am looking to get the colostomy reversed hopefully sometime soon.

That being said, I have yet to meet with a surgeon and was wondering if anyone has heard of or would have a safe guesstimate of when I would likely be able to start TTC following the reversal? It's an uncommon thing I suppose because I haven't really found anything from googling.

I would like to start TTC by early 2022 possibly but I don't know if that wouldn't be deemed safe. Hopefully someone can relay some experience or knowledge to me because I am truly clueless!
