What do you think the gender could be ?

I went to the doctor yesterday and I was 14weeks and 6 days and they done a Doppler of the heart rate and it was 160 bpm. Most people say that boys are lower 120-140s and girls are higher 160- 168 and so but has anyone have thought it was one gender and it turn out to be the other gender or what ?

When I was 14/15 weeks my boys heart rate was around 160. Unfortunately the heart rate can’t tell us anything about gender since it’s just an old wives tale.

Can’t tell you which seeing that heartbeat is base off of how active baby is. My babies all had the same heart rates. Boy or girl.

A higher or lower heart rate doesn't tell you whether your having a boy or girl.

I would test all Old wives tales (with the mindset that they are myths and not science) and go from there. With my son most wives tales were correct as so with my daughter

My son was 120 and my daughter was 125. Beats don’t mean anything IMO

My boy was in the 170’s until 12 weeks then dropped to 160’s I was convinced he was a girl until 16 weeks when his dropped down to 147. Now he’s usually in the 140’s-150’s range

My boy has had a heart rate consistently in the 150s-160s 🤷🏻‍♀️ its just an old wives tale.
