Anyone planning their child’s 3rd birthday yet?

Feels so weird to have an almost 3 year old! I think of a 3 year old as a child rather than a toddler 😭
Are you planning on having a party/celebration? What do you plan on getting for gifts?
We’ll probably have an afternoon tea with my and my husband’s immediate families (our parents, siblings, siblings partners and kids). Maybe in a park depending on what restrictions look like.

Awe I know it girl! Can’t believe our babes will be THREE soon 🙁😭😢 I don’t wanna accept that! Lol I’m in total denial. Haha 
Well my son is obsessed with Blippi and tractors, excavators, skid steers, basically all things like that! So I’m thinking we’ll do a small family party with those types of things involved! Maybe outside at a park if weather is nice and not too hot!! Also may take him on a special outing (just me, his daddy, and our newborn) to the zoo or aquarium!

Isn’t it crazy!?
This year is the first that I gave him two options for a theme. Paw Patrol or Dinosaurs. I thought he wouldn’t give me an answer so I would just have to decide and he immediately said “Dinosaurs!” I nearly teared up 😭 
I’ll be asking him again once he sees the paw patrol movie though 😂

I absolutely love planning parties. I have been planning her 3rd for a few months now. I am planning on doing a combo 3rd birthday and baby shower for my second girl due in October. It is going to be woodland fairy themed. 
In the invite I think I am going to say if you feel inclined to bring a present please just bring a $5 bill in a card instead. We are working on simplifying our house and I already have everything from my first daughter.

I keep getting on amazon and looking at dinosaur, Daniel Tiger, and Sesame Street party supplies. He loves all three and I’m not sure which to go with, haha. 
I’ll probably make him a cake, invite my stepsisters and nieces and nephews over, and my mom and stepdad. I’m hoping to rent a bounce house too. And will probably make a piñata. We will most likely have it at my moms house.

I’m so excited! This year is either Spongebob or Cocomelon themed 🥰 leaning more towards spongebob because he has been non stop spongebob for about a year now and cake wise and decor wise spongebob has more options but he still really likes cocomelon so we will see.
