Are you comfortable with indoor dining at restaurants right now?

I’m still cautious because my toddler can’t be vaccinated yet, but I do miss eating out at restaurants! One day....

Statistically it's more dangerous for kids to ride in cars than it is to get Covid. So we are living our lives, driving around, going to church, and enjoying restaurants.

As far as Covid goes, in my area yes I’m comfortable with indoor dining.
As far as my demon 2 year old goes, no I’m scared of him in a restaurant lol

No. We’ve eaten at restaurants a few times if they had outdoor seating - we won’t anymore because we plan to do a little more isolating now with all the recommendations from the CDC and concerns from the delta variant. 
It just wasn’t worth the risk for me. I’m all about mitigation of risk with my kids who are too young to be vaccinated yet.

Nope. I have a newborn and I don’t trust people to wear masks when they aren’t vaxxed. I like take out just fine

Kids under 2 accounted for 2% (0.02) of all Covid cases, and of that number 60~ died from Covid or related complications. (You can get these numbers from the CDC website) So while it’s not impossible for a toddler to get it but that age groups makes up such a small percentage of Covid cases! 
Also a close friends 11 month old got Covid and was over it in 3 days. So if your toddler is overall healthy with no underlying conditions then kiddo should be ok. 
If it helps with peace of mind, bring some sanitizer wipes and clean down the high chair and silverware and such before kiddo touches it. :)

No. There’s only one restaurant we have been to that I have felt comfortable eating in. It was at the Four Seasons, the tables were spread well over 6 feet apart and we were seated by an open window. They also came to table with packets of hand sanitizer for everyone and made us feel extremely safe. There was just a a QR code on the table so no menus. The whole experience was very sanitary. Plus kitchen is open so we saw how hygienic the staff was entire time. If it wasn’t so expensive, we would do it more often - but we only went for anniversary. 
With a 10 month old we don’t take many risks at all.

Yes. We’ve gone out to eat a few times recently and it was fun! Since Delta is going around and cases are rising again I’m going to keep an eye on cases in our area and play it by ear, but until I feel uncomfortable or feel the need to put on a mask again, we’ll keep enjoying ourselves!
