Slight UTI Pain after intercourse?

So the morning after intercourse I peed and it felt just like a UTI pressure, feeling like I still need to pee, etc. then it just went away the same day. Again, that pee was only a few hours after rough intercourse. I am cramping a little bit (not just when I pee) when I pee it feels nothing like how it does when I have a UTI. I get my period in 3 days. Could I have some sort of UTI still or could that be attributed to rough intercourse combined with oncoming period?
