Any point in doing BBT if I’m not getting undisturbed sleep?

Hi there!

So I’ve veryyyy loosely tracked temps before (frowned upon I know but I have used an ear thermometer in the middle of the day, even with this shitty method I can see distinct shifts). I’m considering doing it properly but my youngest kiddo is still nursing and wakes up in the night so I’m not getting solid sleep. I also won’t realistically be able to temp before hoping out of bed in the AM. Question: given these factors is there even a point to buying g a BBT thermometer and trying to do it properly?
