Court - Child support

(Ontario) So I plan on taking my kids father to court for child support. How does that work? lol. We have a 2 year old & our newborn is due in a week. He hasn’t helped me financially with our 2 year old. He’s now working full time making 2000 biweekly. We’re also split so. If he were to miss a payment or not pay at all what could happen?
