HELP!!! Does my baby have a cleft lip?

I just had my 16w appointment and I ended up getting this oddly puppy like 3d ultrasound picture of my baby. It wasn't until I got home and showed my husband that it has the appearance of a cleft lip? What do you think? I have the 2d side profile for side by side reference. I know sometimes 3d ultrasound pictures can be really distorted sometimes too, so maybe I'm just over reacting? IDK! And I have to wait another 4 weeks until my next ultrasound. Doctor didn't say anything at this last appointment, but I'm worried maybe he's withholding his opinion until the anatomy scan. Please help!

I’ve never seen a cleft lip look like that (Sonographer here). At 16 weeks and with these images, it’s not definitive, but I wouldn’t think a cleft is responsible for baby looking “puppy-like” on the 3D here. Try not to worry til your anatomy scan. There’s a reason we wait til close/after 20 weeks to do them.

I dont think so! They are super squished in there so things always look a little weird but i  think your doctor would have said something if it was a cleft lip!

For the 3D scan they can fade away the placenta etc so you can see the baby better. If baby is up against placenta (mine is!!) that could be one explanation. 
Also, they are squished in general! Don’t worry mama
