My son was just born last week. He is just a little over a week old. My parents have been with us for 2 weeks & have been such a help. I’ve been looking forward to having them here & not only for their help, but just to have them here & to spend time with them. They live about 10 hours away from us, so having them here for baby’s arrival meant so much to my husband & I. They took care of our house, our dog & firstborn while my husband & I were at the hospital delivering our baby.

They get in the habit of rocking & swaying our kids even when they’re already asleep. At that point, we ask them nicely to set the babies down instead of continuing to sway, rock or hold them. They recently got offended & we got into a small argument with them.

Anyone else get into arguments and/or disagreements with their parents about how they are raising their kids?
