Follicle size 12mm on CD 10...is that good?

I have PCOS and don’t ovulate on my own, Atleast not all the time...I took Letrozole 5mg Day 3-7 of my cycle. On day 10 I had a dominant follicle of 12mm. Will be going in on Monday to have it measured again. Doctor said that I don’t need a trigger, but since I don’t really ovulate on my own, should I ask for the trigger so that way I don’t have to guess when I’ll ovulate?

Should i try without trigger? More success with or without trigger? ( this is my 5th cycle of Letrozole. 2nd with 5mg dosage) last cycle I was pregnant but miscarried at 5-6 weeks....
