Glucose testing question

Did you have to fast for the 3 hour glucose test???????So I took the one hour test and my doctor said it was barely higher than it should have been but wants me to still take the 3 hour test. They asked me to fast from 8pm day prior to testing. I get very light headed and nauseous if I do not eat in the morning. I won’t be able to have even water as they don’t want me drinking it either. I won’t be able to have food or water for 15hrs.

I got extremely sick last test and it seems unreasonable to fast. The first doc I saw didn’t make me fast for my glucose test just told me not to eat anything sweet or super carby. I dont want to feel sick or pass out ugh
