Having a polypectomy to remove a polyp in my uterus. Anyone has this done?

What was recovery like? Where you able to conceive afterwards? Also we’re you sedated or put to sleep?

I had a D&C for a uterine polyp back in 2015ish - just before turning 30. I'm currently TTC but it's only been a few months so I'm not worried. I have had a couple of internal ultrasounds since and everything looks great. 
I was under for about 30 minutes. I felt uncomfortable and really tired for a couple of days after. There was a bit of bleeding afterwards, but the polyp was causing mid-cycle spotting which cleared up after the surgery. 
I understand D&C is reasonably common and doesn't have a negative impact on TTC. Your doctor should be explaining the procedure to you and giving you an opportunity to ask questions. Please take any opportunity to ask and take a note pad so you can write things down.
