Daycare transition

My girl starts "school" on Thursday. She will go a few hours Thursday and Friday before going fulltime next week.

We have done all of the preparations ahead of time (discussing school and what she will do, reading books about school, reminding her that grown ups will always come back, watching some cartoons about going to school, she has seen pictures of her classroom, we've made an interactive countdown, she has helped pack her bag, we've tried to mimic her new schedule, etc).

But I'm looking for tips in the aftermath... what should I expect during the first few weeks of this transition?

Any advice or stories would be appreciated!
