Try hydrocortisone cream! It should clear it up, if not seek MD advice but most rashes like that go away with that. There is also a antibacterial cream that I know target sells, not the ointment, that works well if it’s like ingrown hairs

is it the inside of your thigh? if so it’s probably sweat pimples, i got them a lot this summer due to thick thighs and to much heat.

Maybe shingles? If it is very itchy, worsening, and only on one side of the body it may require antiviral for shingles
