Is going to a Chiropractor actually worth it?

In my experience no. My chiropractor that I went to took x rays and diagnosed me with spondylothesis and other disorder with my spine when he is not qualified to do so. He put me on a plan to “fix” the problem but it didn’t. I eventually went to my doctor to get a second opinion and I went straight for an MRI. I then found out I had a pars defect and fracture in my spine and they told me that the chiropractor had no right to diagnose me like that when he is not trained to do so and the plan he had me on was never going to work. They assigned me to a physio and haven’t had any pain since. I wasted a lot of money on chiro. But that’s just my experience. Go there and try it out and see where it go’s

I really want to go to a Chiro but my mom freaks out over it because a coworker of hers had a stroke after going and having her neck done

Went to a chiro regularly for a couple month and it was great! I was barely able to get out of my bed bc my back hurt so much and couldn’t sit for longer than 10 min without needing to crack it. I’m 23 and realized by back shouldn’t be that bad to finally went to the chiro and she helped it a lot

I'm not sure. I've heard both good and bad things about chiropractors. My old coworker said her chiro messed up her back really bad to the point she needed surgery. Others I know swear by it. However I don't think I'd ever risk it
