When to test?

Hi everyone!

Trying to get some insight here. I had my Liletta (almost identical to Mirena) removed 7/12 since hubby & I see ttc baby #2. I was very regular even with my IUD in and had a period the first of every month. I was due for my normal period 7/26 but when I had it removed, I had a full blown period beginning 7/12. It lasted about 5 days which is typical for me. I began using opk to track where I was in my cycle and didn’t get this positive until 8/2 which definitely made me happy since I hadn’t seen one at all. the next morning, negative. Of course BD’d the day before the positive and that night. I’m not sure when I should take a hpt or when I should expect a period? help!
