Potty training?

How do you go about teaching? I know we aren’t “supposed” to teach until they are 2. But I feel like Ella is ready, she pulls on the diaper every time it’s dirty. And sits on her toilet, but can’t get the “pee” to come out. Lol if that makes sense, she’ll sit and wait and wait for like 10 mins but she gets frustrated. By the time I realize she’s already peed. I am doing where she’s only wearing underwear and she can pull them off and on. What are you girls doing?

I’ve been slowly introducing it to my daughter the past couple of days. She peed in the toilet the first day and pooped today. Again this is just an introduction, we have a long ways to go as she isn’t notifying me yet when she needs to go lol, but she knows she gets a sticker if she does and loves to sit on the big toilet and hang out (on the attachable potty seat). I could have waited a few more months until she’s 2 but I’m home with her so no harm in introducing her to things.

My daughter is fully potty trained during the day aside from being able to pull her own pants down. She's 20 months.

I wouldn’t until they can take their own pants off. Otherwise they will be trained but can’t do it without you. Unless you’re a SAHM and your kid can be in only underwear all day. I tried with my daughter at 2.5 and she wasn’t ready. She’s almost 4 and still not trained because we started too early. She was doing good and then went into a total regression and hasn’t fully recovered. I’d wait.

Mine does the same but it’s definitely not time for us. She’s not talking yet so I’m waiting. She’ll go sit on the toilet but that’s completely on her pace. My first didn’t train til 6 months ago when he turned 4 🤷🏻‍♀️
