How to care for baby teeth?

My baby is almost 4 months and is already getting his first tooth. I didn’t expect his teeth to come for another couple months at least, but now his bottom right incisor is already poking through his gum. I have the baby toothpaste already but I’m not sure what to do with it or if I need to do anything because he’s not even on solid foods yet. Has anyone else experienced this? I just don’t wanna start his life off with tooth problems.

My dentist recommended teeth wipes for when babies have 2-3 teeth. The brand is Spiffies, you can order it on Amazon, they contain xylitol. 
Also I found a finger toothbrush very comfortable to use

They have a little baby toothbrush shaped like a banana. And also don’t let them fall asleep eating or having a bottle. That will give them bottle rot.

I started letting baby suck and play with a toothbrush so they get use to having it in their mouths. Now they love brushing their teeth.
