Is 24w2d too early for glucose intolerance test?

I was told to schedule my glucose intolerance test between 24-28 weeks. Mine is scheduled on Monday and I’ll be 24 weeks and 2 days. I know it’s within the window I was told but now I’m thinking it’s a bit early and to avoid any false test results, maybe I should wait another week?

I had one at 18 weeks and one at 26 weeks (I passed both). I have PCOS and other high risks factors, so my midwives had me do it early. The second test was the “routine” check which confirmed the first results, they said I could schedule for any time between 24-28 weeks. Both times I requested an alternative and had a Naked Juice, so that made it much easier.

I have to take it twice because of my weight. I took it at 14wk 6 days and I have to take it once more when I reach 24wks I think.

I had to do the three hour glucose test after my first appointment with my son (due to my high bmi) so it doesn’t seem that early to me

I had to have an early test at 24 weeks because of my heritage. The early tests are for people with higher risk factors, either for ethnicity, a high BMI or other factors. Did they mention you had higher risk factors?
