Lol! Anyone else on Prilosec ?

Question

My doctor put me on 40mg of omeprazole for severe acid reflux which is causing nausea and vomiting.  I have been having a few issues like headaches and diarrhea so I wanted to look up and see if they were side effects before bothering my ob.

Side effects list the 3 things I’m taking it to try to fix 😂 so far it hasn’t helped but it’s only been 3 days so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

You can always try nexium too if Prilosec doesn’t end up working for ya. I mean, ask your OB first, lol, but my OB recommended it when Prilosec stopped working for me.

My biggest side effect with Prilosec was dizziness.  It did take a few days of taking it regularly, but it did work for me when I needed it.  I hope you see some relief soon!☺️

My doctor put me on it over a year ago and I’ve had no negative side effects. If it gives you acid reflux that’s kind of counterproductive but everyone’s different lol

It took about a week for me to see a difference when I started omeprozole

Prilosec made me feel awful… pepcid has been sufficient so far but my doctor recommended that I try Prevacid if it gets worse
