first natural period in 4 years
Just a little background, I miscarried twins in 2017 and have been TTC ever since. In December last year, I learned that I have hashimotos thyroiditis which means that my body attacks my thyroid when I eat gluten. My OBGYN recommended eating gluten free because he thought the reason I hadn't gotten pregnant was because of inflammation preventing it. Its been a long road for the last year but I've finally gotten to the point of faithfully not eating gluten and finally, FINALLY, I am starting to have periods again without medicinal intervention. There is hope growing our family just a little bigger again!
