Mistaken IB for AF?

Hi ladies!

I know that only time will tell, but I’m looking for some input/experience.

I had a blighted ovum, about 3 months ago.

I was using opk afterwards as my midwife told me we didn’t have to wait to try again.

I had an LH surge on CD5 & CD6 (very shortly after my bleeding stopped from the MC

We had sex on both LH surge days.

Assuming I O’d on CD7, I would be 10dpo.

Yesterday (9dpo) I started spotting. Started light brown, then red, then by the time I went to bed it was almost gone and light brown.

This morning I woke up to what I thought was AF, blood was dark red, and like a “light period” it has since started to taper off and is still red, but not getting heavier at all.

I never spot before my period and they always start out HEAVY & PAINFUL on day1-day3

Does this sound like my cycle is just super messed up from the MC? (I bled for 9 weeks. Ugh)

Or possible heavy implantation bleeding? I’ve had BFN tests thus far. I’ll wait to see what happens in the next few days to test again.

I’m just looking for some input please. It’s been a tough few months.
