If the baby isn't having trouble breastfeeding it doesn't matter if they have this or not. My child had this and breastfed like a champ until I stopped at 15 months old . The pediatrician and dentist agree that if it isn't causing issues the child will usually break these on their own so nothing to be concerned about unless you can get the baby to latch or they are having issues gaining weight.

I worked at an ENT office for 4 years and the doc would fix these in the office in the baby was still very young.
