Canceling my baby shower due to covid

My sister in law has been planning my baby shower since I found out I was pregnant. It was supposed to be an all girl small brunch type baby shower and her and my mother have spent so much time and money making sure it’s catered, buying a cake and decorations all that. But in the past week (my baby shower is supposed to be this weekend) 3 of the 25 girls I have invited have Covid. One of them is doing pretty bad she’s on oxygen. Im honestly freaked out. I really don’t feel comfortable now having the shower. But I feel horrible canceling it last minute and knowing it’s not gonna be rescheduled with Covid supposedly peaking in middle of September. I’m paranoid I work at a hospital and have seen quite a few pregnant admits come in with Covid and have to deliver early. I feel terrible I really wanted to have fun with my girlfriends and feel horrible that my sister in law’s shower planning could be for nothing.
