Having my baby shower in November cause of the holiday season is this weirdly early?

I plan to have mine around Halloween, and I’m due February 1st

I am due Feb 28th and my husband and I are discussing having our shower in November too.  We are actually going to try to take advantage of the holiday season and have it the weekend after Thanksgiving.  This way some of our family traveling from out of state has an opportunity to come without making multiple trips.

I had mine at 26 weeks with my first and it was amazing! I wasn’t horribly uncomfortable and it gave me time to organize everything before baby came.

If I were having one, that is what I would do! Everybody is too partied out after Christmas/new year’s.

I'm due February 19th and having mine on October 30th.

I'm having mine in November. I'm due 2/4. We have so many bdays and Christmas in December and January we feel not comfortable doing it then in case I go early or if I have to go out I won't to buy it all at once.

My sister in law was due February 1st (this was 4 years ago) and we held her baby shower the weekend before Thanksgiving. It's honestly easier on everyone - mom-to-be, hosts, guests.
