My boyfriend is a massive jokester, but sometimes it bugs me.... UPDATE

My boyfriend is a big joker, and I love that about him. He doesn’t take anything too seriously and is just a big party guy.

While I love it, it also kinda is a pet peeve.

He tends to change around our plans, making them sooner or later as it works for him. He drinks, and while Not “alcoholic” level, it’s a little concerning, mostly with his friends as they pressure him to turn into a “life of the party”

I’ve had times were I try to have a serious conversation and he starts to goof around.

For example, while talking to him about my insecurities in our relationship, ex. It being hard for me to tell that he loves me, he put one of my bras on his head.

I find myself questioning our relationship because sometimes I don’t feel like a girlfriend, just a buddy.

No I havnt really talked to him about this. I don’t want him to change, because I do love how silly he is, but he doesn’t ever act serious about anything, the only thing he’s serious about is his friends, so I feel like he doesn’t take us seriously. Like there’s a complete lack of effort from him in us being together.

I’m 22, and he’s 25.

I just woke up this morning to a break up text from him and now he’s ignoring my calls ✌🏻
