I've never wanted a mom

I have people all the time ask me if I want to go find my mom or wish I had a mom. I have 2 gay dads. Then they tell me that babies go through trauma being taken fro their mothers. I'm 25 and trauma free(thank god). I am in therapy for better coping skills with my ADHD but that's it. Funny thing about when people say that is who are they saying is my mom, because the one I'm biologically related to is my egg donor, but they are saying that babies feel trauma being taken from their mother and my surrogate birthed me, so who are they saying is my mom?

Anyway another stupid thing I hear is who will teach you about your period or make up? I swear people think kids who have same sex parents are shielded from the other sex. They think my dad's are like "Rebecca a women! Shield yourself! DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT!!!" Like I have aunts. And even then my daddy is a nurse and can tell me all about periods. Never once in my life have I thought about having a mom instead of my dad's. They obviously raised us right because I'm working on my masters and my 16 year old brother is on Varsity basketball. Who do you celebrate on Mothers Day? Dads. Who comes with you to moms and muffins? I love them. Who needs a mom when you have such amazing daddys.

@Yetti, everyone has their own ideas of success and a lot of the time it's by age. I'm 25 so for me success is getting my masters and getting a house soon. My little bro is 16 and he was so happy that he made Varsity. That's a success for him and I'll celebrate hi success just like he did when I got my Bachelors.

Also my surrogate and egg donor where two different people. My state doesn't allow you to use a surrogates egg because it can create some issues if she tried to keep the baby.
