Let me know your opinions on Zofran ?? Please

I am so sick , puking all the time. Nauseous from morning until night. I have tried everything. Unisom and B6 .. ginger .. peppermint .. eating small meals often.. ginger ale ... crackers .. so many things. Now they want to give me zofran but I’ve heard controversial things and I feel hesitant to take it. Anyone take this medication ?? ( I’m 7 almost 8 weeks)

The only controversy comes from those that don’t actually know what they’re talking about.  The tablets are perfectly safe and rated a category b during pregnancy because of it (same as unisom).   Opinions don’t really matter when it comes to medication, science does.  
The issues come in when women are getting regular large doses via iv in early pregnancy.  Even then, oftentimes they’re getting it because they’re so sick either their unborn or both of them wouldn’t survive the extreme sickness they’re experiencing. 
I took it regularly with my first and she’s healthy.  I take it regularly with my fourth and baby is perfectly healthy so far.  
I also take 50mg of b6 every 8 hours instead of just once a day.  
I was throwing up 15+ times a day though, I needed something to survive those pregnancies.

My doctor was willing to give it to me and he said he trusted it enough to give to his own wife! I had no issues taking it and it helped soooo much

I started mine at 6 weeks. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was miserable with the nausea. I tried unimson first and it was a no go. I only took it once a day tho. That’s all I really needed they had prescribed me the lowest dose.
