Did anyone work while pregnant ?

So I’m working right now but moving and will need a job for a little while I’m thinking working with kids as I’m doing that right now . Or care taker , as I did in past or just housekeeping at a care home ? Has anyone in the past did any of those jobs and was pregnant ?

I work at a warehouse that involves heavy duty work all day. I told them i was pregnant and my history of miscarriages and she basically told me i should be looking for an office job because there will be no light duty so i can either risk it and go back to work or i can resign. I wish they would just lay me off so i can at least get some income from unemployment. 😞

I worked in a warehouse counting and sorting inventory. It took awhile for management to understand I can’t lift things like I used to. They still were trying to get me to lift doors, toilets and water heaters at 6 months pregnant! It’s okay to work just make sure you’re advocating for yourself and working within your comfort and safety zones.

I worked as a nurse my first pregnancy but quit because I had a wheel chair bound dementia patient come over from the nursing home to meet her great granddaughter (I worked in labor/delivery) and she became disoriented and violent. We came in to make sure mom and baby were okay and she backed her wheel chair quickly into my stomach at 36 weeks and caused me to contract. I had to be on bedrest the rest of my pregnancy and knew I wanted to stay home with my son after so I just quit. Afterwards, I had a part time job as a nanny so I could stay home with my son and still make an income. I work until 30 weeks because my babies around that time decide to sit on my ureters and cause hydronephrosis. I start working again when baby is 3-4 months old

I worked in administration/accounts/customer service while I was pregnant with my first. I also did some merchandising.
If you feel comfortable with it and they’re not making you drag beds or anything super heavy around, I’d say go for it
