Let me fix the poll: If your husband cheated and had a baby with another woman would you tell your child that they have a sibling?

I know women who will pretend the child doesn’t exist. 
I also know women who will let the husband/boyfriend tell the child and deal with the situation

Both 1 and 3. If he cheated he’s out, but his kid is still my child’s sibling. 1) my child should know their sibling and 2) that child shouldn’t be punished because their father is an asshole.

I’m not stay with no man husband or not if he cheated/ cheated and had a baby on me! But I will tell my child he/she has a brother or sister. This bitter behavior if you don’t. I won’t act funny if daddy wants to come get child and have the two siblings meet. But daddy & I are done!

I wouldn't be telling my child, he would be. If he  can make the children, then he can take the responsibility of owning up to it and letting them know. 
But no, we would not be married. I told my husband only 2 deal breakers before we got married: 1. You put your hands on me or my children 2. You cheat on me

Yes at some point they need to know. Imagine if down the road it somehow comes out? How will your child (late teen/adult) feel that you knew but didnt tell?

Absolutely. My reasoning: my biological father cheated on his wife with my mom. Got her pregnant. His wife was also pregnant. My mom was always honest with me. My father pretended I did not exist after my mom told his wife I existed a couple years after I was born. I ran into my half sister countless times in life and I was always afraid to say anything. Finally I did, and she was shocked. Did not know I existed and decided she absolutely despised me. I’m sure it was so much to swallow and instead of resenting her father for his choices, she hates me and won’t speak to me.

I’d definitely leave the douche but it would depend on how well I get along with the other female. I’d try to be friendly and see if she’d wanna keep in touch or not. If not then my kid wouldn’t know they had a half sibling until maybe middle school. Old enough to understand but young enough to still be able to spend time and communicate with their sibling if they wanted to. I’d tell them the whole story from their dad cheating to me trying to stay in touch with their siblings mother and leave everything else up to them 🤷🏻‍♀️ they wanna get involved, cool. They wanna leave things the way it is and don’t care to know their half sibling then whatever. At least at that point they’d know everything and be able to decide for themselves instead of somehow finding out later on in their lives and blaming me for making the decision.

My sister—in-law had a cheating husband (among other things) and after they divorced found out he had a kid with his new girlfriend. She opted not to tell her kids because it was a very messy situation. Well, I guess recently, a few years later, they found out the kid wasn’t even his and the girlfriend was cheating on him with someone else. They were glad they never got her kids involved.
I’m honestly not sure what I would do if this was me.

1 and MAYBE 3. It really depends on how my partner is handling the cheating. Are they seeking counseling/therapy? Do they want to stay with the other person? 
I've been the cheater in the past so I understand the thought process that goes into it and it really boils down to issues in the cheater, not really the relationship or other people. If they were actively trying to heal from the hurt that lead to the cheating 🤷🏽‍♀️ I am willing to see how things go after they do at least a year of therapy while we're separated. I'm also not against helping raise other children that I didn't birth so my approach is a little different than most 😅
